Humans are denizens of the land. We can survive briefly in space or at sea, but we are at home on the land. The land is a common tie that binds humanity. It provides a home and sustenance. Over the preceding millennia, humanity’s evolving relationship with the land has taken countless forms and nurtured endless stories. This endeavor is designed to explore as many of those narratives as possible by way of written stories, researched thought pieces, interviews, and photography.
